My mother started Good Times when I was 9 years old. The pictures on our Traditions Page are all of me, growing up right here at what our family affectionately called our little slice of Heaven on the corner of Hwy 18 and TT. Although I have 3 siblings, for as long as I can remember, my mom always told everyone that I would be the one taking the camp over someday. My summers at Good Times have given me some of the happiest and best memories of my childhood. I honestly can't imagine doing anything else with my life. Good Times is just one of those special places that draws you in and calls you back summer after summer. Before I knew it, I found myself thinking and talking about camp every chance I got.

My mother always told me that Good Times was built on kindness. As a child, I witnessed first hand how genuinely she cared about the campers and the memories they were leaving with each fall. I hope to continue that tradition. Good Times has grown and changed over the past 21 years, but its foundation of kindness and our genuine love for our campers will never change. Ever since the camp opened, I remember never wanting to outgrow Good Times. Now as an adult, I get to live that dream. I hope all of our campers fall in love with Good Times the same way I did as child. I hope they leave with new friendships and some of the very best memories of their childhood. I hope they leave knowing that they are loved and will be missed until they return again for the following summer. I hope they leave walking a little taller, a littler prouder and with a little more self-confidence.  I hope they consider Good Times their second home just as I have for the past 21 years.

How We Want Each Camper To Go Home Feeling:

To our Parents...

Having four children of my own, I understand that  deciding who you all to care for your child is one of the  biggest and most   important decision you will ever make. I understand how precious each of our campers is and the place they hold in your hearts. I understand that you are looking to us to treat your child with the same care, compassion, and concern that you would if you were with your child. I consider myself, and the rest of my staff, to be role models for our campers. I believe that children are always "looking", and should you choose Good Times Day  Camp for  your child(ren), I will do my best to make sure you approve of what your child see when he or she is with us. I promise to never underestimate or take for granted the trust you have placed in our hands. We are not a camp, we are a family! Thank you  for entrusting your child with us!

When You Thought  I Wasn't Looking...

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I saw you hang my first painting

On the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I saw you feed a stray car,

And I thought it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I saw you make a cake just for me,

And I knew that little things are special things.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I heard you say a prayer,

And I believed there is a God I could always talk to.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I felt you kiss me goodnight,

     Now I felt loved.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I saw tears come from your eyes,

And I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it's alright to cry.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I saw that you  cared,

And I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought  I wasn't looking, I looked...

And I wanted to thanks for all the things I saw!

When you thought  I wasn't looking....
